The Navigator

The QuickBooks 5 Navigator was added as a more graphic way of, well, navigating in QuickBooks. The instructions earlier, in this chapter, recommended turning off the Navigator. It can be turned on by clicking the NAV button, near the upper-right corner of the screen.

The Navigator was designed to be intuitive in use. The Company tab is also effectively a "QuickBooks" tab, providing access to preferences affecting not only the current company, but all of QuickBooks.
