DOS version users have converted to Windows, and found the Enter key does not do what they want. Instead of moving between XE "Enter:pressing moves between fields" fields, it closes a form. There is a good case for learning to live with this, which involves invoices in QuickBooks? 5. In the Description field, Enter moves to the next line of the description. Only Tab moves out of the XE "pressing Enter:moves between fields" description field. If, in spite of this, you want to use "Pressing Enter moves between fields," it is under File|Preferences|General (in earlier versions, Preferences|Data Entry.)
