The tabs in
Customize Invoice refer to sections of the invoice, as depicted in this invoice diagram:
Click the
Header tab (if necessary) to get this view:
NOTE
Screen checkboxes control (in some cases) recording of information with the invoice, as well as controlling display of the information. If you want to be sure data are recorded, they must be displayed.
Columns tab includes
Item and
Amount, which must be displayed on the screen. In later versions, column order and printing width may be adjusted. In
QuickBooks? 5, width is adjusted in the
Layout Designer.
